Getaway to the villa in Rosh Pina

Getaway to the villa in Rosh Pina
Rosh Pina is a small city with a population of only 3 thousand people. It is located on the north of Israel, in the Upper Galilee not far from Safed. Located on a hill, it is overlooking Hula Valley and the mount Hermon.

Rosh Pina was founded by the Romanian immigrants in 1884. The old part of the city resembles the city of Safed - its roads covered with paving stones accompanied by yellow stones of its houses, and all this is covered with flowers and plants - classical North Israel style.

Rosh Pina attracts lots of tourists, including Israelis, with its tranquility, country-side ambiance, and of course with its incredible view to the snow-capped mount of Hermon.
The easiest way to get here is of course by car but you can also take the bus 845 from Tel Aviv (the bus stop is on the 7th floor of the Central Bus Station). The road will take 3 hours with 1 stop. The price of the ticket is about 40 NIS/$11. In Rosh Pina, you will get off at the entrance to the city, in the lower part of the hill.
There lots of villas and zimmers on Rosh Pina. Once we spent a weekend at Rom Mansion. It is a wonderful 3-story villa at the very top of the city. From here, you can observe the top of a line of mountains led by Hermon and Hula Valley. On the terrace, you will find a swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi with warm water - paired with a glass of good Israeli wine it is a perfect viewpoint.
Sarah, the owner of Rom Mansion, is a great hostess. She met us on the bus stop to ease our way to the top of the hill where her house is located. There was a bottle of wine and sweets on our bed. We got a big room with 2 additional beds that usually goes for those who travel with kids and with a private jacuzzi.
Rom Mansion is only 2 minutes away from a lovely little wood with a rich diversity of flowers, plants, and trees. It was great to walk here during sunrise when the sun was slowly rising out of the mountains and to sit next to a fire in the evening that can be chilly here in winter.
There is a beautiful place for breakfast in Rosh Pina. It's a restaurant called Shiri with cute round tables and the view to Hermon. Their shakshuka and freshly-baked bread served with little spread plates made our little getaway feel like a true vacation.

If you have a car take 15 minutes to go to Kinneret, or the Sea of Galilee. It is a beautiful lake with a few beaches where it is allowed to camp and to make fire - this can be a great option for your next getaway.
